In the last week we managed to get the camera detection to work. That means, we can now detect ArUco tags from a distance and tell, how far they are away from the main lens (see video). The next steps are to calibrate the camera more and to make the detection even better, even in low light. With some changes, we could detect the cans from a distance of over 2 meters – that will be enough. We could also tell, how far they are away, and in what kind of angle they are.
We also added some emergency stop switches to our SIMAs to match the rules.
