Student Robotics: First Programming Attempts

We are getting to know the simulation software right know and have written our first very simple lines of code. In the video you can see that two bots driving forwards, but they are actually the same bots: The software simulates real physical environments, so that in this case the right motor is moving a bit faster than the left one and it doesn’t drive in a straight line. The right version of the bot is able to correct the angle by using a camera that detects the markers on the walls. The software exaggerates maybe a little regarding the physical environments but making sure to drive in a straight line is also an important task for our real robot and possibly we will a use similar tactic there, but we are not quite sure on that yet.
