SAM is a project on which we’ve been working on for several months and which now has finally reached its final stage.
A short overview of the project: SAM is basically an advanced sort of weather station measuring loads of data which we combined with a smart mirror. The mirror displays the sensor output as well as tips on how to behave regarding the measured data. A short example to make it more comprehensible would be the following: If the rain sensor measures any sort of precipitation, the tip shown on the mirror will be something like “put on water proof clothing or a rain jacket”. The main goal of the project is to improve a person’s everyday life by smart suggestions but also to make the data easy to understand and accessible even for people without any technical background, which is why we included the tips.
