Eurobot: Decomissioning the Old Big Bot

After freeing the old Big Bot from hot glue, we designed a vertical motion system and a gripper/suction system to grab and place the cake plates. The base plate and motion system was already in place, so no work was done there. The vertical motion system consists of a motor driving a gear up and down which is sliding on a linear rail. We are also working on the basket for which we have found a weighing module and with the weight of a ball we can calculate the amount of balls in the basket.
