Student Robotics: Electronics Modelling and Motor Ordering

For our 3d model we designed the motors, power boards etc. and while it may not look like it, it was a lot of work to really get all the details right, so that we can now bring it all together.

But with only a 3d model we obviously can’t compete anywhere, so we also have to build our robot. And now, after having ordered our choice of motors as well as many other components, there is nothing there to stop us from building a fully functioning robot in the next few weeks!

Also, we have already looked into the simulator update and are continuing to test possible strategies (with now even more options available as the simulator bot has gotten some new features). We are quite excited to see if this will affect our strategy concerning the virtual competition.
