This weekend the german Eurobot finals took place! This meant: Me and my siblings had to take our robots to this town to fight exciting matches against the other german Eurobot teams: MAMUT Robotics from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen in Gießen, Roboterclub Aachen RCA from RWTH Aachen Universität and TU Dresden Robotik TURAG from Technische Universität Dresden.
On our first day in Aachen we made a tour of the town. It was really beautiful! We even managed to visit the Centre Charlemagne. Take a look:
After visiting the town we did the check in at our hotel and started tinkering on our robots. This was necessary because the bots were damaged during the transfer to Aachen.
The matches were on saturday and on sunday. And I have to say: We were quite successful competing the universities! We had some difficulties in the beginning, but we improved each and every round. And finally, we made it to be competitive! We are especially proud of the fact that we were the only team with two homologated robots!
The final matches were really close! But proudly we can shout out: We made it to third place!
