Eurobot: Enemy Detection

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, we focused intensively on developing the opponent detection system of our robot. For this purpose, we carefully wired and soldered the ultrasonic sensors to ensure reliable connections. In addition, we designed suitable 3D mounts on the computer so that the sensors could be securely and correctly attached to the robot. We also installed a stop button on the top plate of the robot, which allows the robot to be stopped immediately in case of an emergency. Furthermore, we programmed the ultrasonic sensors so that the robot automatically stops as soon as it detects an object or an opponent at a distance of approximately 15 cm. This ensures safe and controlled operation of the robot.
